Your numbers are not inventory.

1. Calculations before you save

The free business and paycheck calculators run from the numbers you enter in your browser. You can calculate, copy, share, and print a report without creating a Margin Reaper account. Sharing opens your device's own share controls, and nothing is sent until you choose a destination. We do not ask for bank credentials or import bank transactions.

To keep sign-in or same-tab navigation from erasing your work, the browser temporarily places the current calculator inputs, billing-period choice, and AI question in session storage for that tab. This draft is not an account save and is not sent to us unless you choose Save or ask the AI Reaper. You can choose Forget browser draft beside the calculator; signing out through the account page clears the draft in that tab. Close or clear any other open Margin Reaper tabs separately.

In the native iPhone, iPad, or Android app, calculator drafts and device-saved audits stay in the app's local storage unless you choose to share or export them. Your operating-system backup settings may include app data. The native app does not connect to a bank or import transactions.

2. Account and saved-audit data

If you sign in, the hosting platform provides an account identifier, email address, and—when available—your name. When you choose Save to my account, we store the audit title, type, normalized inputs, calculated results, and timestamps in the private ledger connected to that account.

Saving is optional. A paid plan can hold up to 100 saved audits. You can delete individual saved audits from your account page.

3. Payments and subscriptions

Stripe processes checkout, card details, invoices, refunds, and subscription management. The Margin Reaper stores Stripe customer and subscription identifiers, plan level, billing interval, status, and renewal or cancellation timing so it can unlock the correct features. We do not receive or store your complete card number.

When a native app build connects to subscriptions, Apple or Google processes the payment and RevenueCat helps verify access across the subscription lifecycle. Those services may process product and transaction identifiers, an app-specific user identifier, entitlement status, renewal or cancellation timing, and limited device or diagnostic information. Margin Reaper does not receive your complete App Store or Google Play payment-card number.

4. AI Reaper requests

When you intentionally ask the AI Reaper a question, the current audit title, normalized financial inputs, calculated results, and your question are sent to OpenAI to generate the answer. The request is sent with API response storage disabled. The Margin Reaper does not add your AI question or answer to the saved-audit ledger.

The current native app's numbers-only AI preview is created on the device and sends nothing to Margin Reaper or OpenAI. If live native AI is enabled in a future build, the app will identify the data and AI provider and ask for your affirmative permission before the first transmission. Only the audit and question you intentionally submit will be sent to Margin Reaper and OpenAI under this policy.

Do not enter card numbers, bank credentials, government identifiers, medical details, or other unnecessary sensitive information in the project title or question.

5. Operations, security, and cookies

OpenAI provides the site platform, ChatGPT sign-in, and AI response service; Cloudflare infrastructure provides the application runtime and private database; and Stripe provides payment and subscription processing. These providers may process limited technical information such as request time, browser or device details, network address, and error or security events to deliver the site, prevent abuse, diagnose failures, and protect accounts. We do not currently use third-party advertising trackers or sell personal information.

If you install The Margin Reaper on a device, its browser may cache public icons, fonts, and other static interface files for faster repeat loads. Page navigations, account pages, payment details, saved audits, and AI requests are excluded from the app cache. Clearing the site's browser data removes that device cache.

6. How information is used and shared

Information is used to calculate audits, maintain accounts, provide paid features, answer support requests, process payments, prevent fraud, and comply with law. It is shared only with service providers performing those functions, when required by law or safety, or as part of a business transfer subject to appropriate protections.

7. Retention and deletion

Saved audits remain until you delete them or request account deletion. Account, subscription, transaction, security, and support records may be retained as reasonably needed for service operation, fraud prevention, tax or accounting duties, disputes, and other legal obligations. Stripe and OpenAI apply their own retention rules to data they process.

Use the account-deletion page to submit a verified deletion request and view its receipt. For access or correction requests—or if you cannot sign in—email hello@roomto.rest from the account address. We may need to verify that the account is yours before acting. We respond within the period required by applicable law; where no specific period applies, we aim to complete a verified request within 30 days. Records required for security, payment, tax, dispute, or legal reasons may need to be retained.

8. Age, changes, and contact

The service is intended for adults aged 18 and over. We may update this policy as the service changes and will revise the effective date when we do. Questions about privacy can be sent to hello@roomto.rest.
